Experience

Since 2013, Cal's practice has principally consisted of his efforts as (i) a Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta (which will term out in February 2024), (ii)  acting as a Director of the Alberta Law Reform Institute, (iii) acting generally as counsel for the Firm in relation to firm contracting with third parties, advising and addressing conflict of interest  issues and developing policy positions on a variety of internal and external issues,  (iii) mentoring and training students and lawyers in relation to ethics, professionalism and equity, diversity and inclusion issues,  and (iii) internal and external organization and conduct of educational and seminar presentations.
