Brianna Guenther Wins 2018 Distinguished Service Award for Community Service
Brianna Guenther has brought honour to our firm, her family and the public by being chosen by The Canadian Bar Association - Alberta Branch and the Law Society of Alberta as the winner of the 2018 Distinguished Service Award for Community Service.
Brianna's dedication to her community is quite remarkable for one of her age and given her busy professional and personal life.
Brianna's many volunteer projects and community interests, each demanding countless hours, include her role as Director of Governance, Wings of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation, organizer of a large group of volunteers for the monthly BD&P sponsored breakfasts at the Drop In Centre, Stampeder Ambassador for the Calgary Stampeders Foundation, Child Care Respite Volunteer for children in crisis at the Children's Cottage, patient advocate on the Early Pregnancy Loss Committee for Alberta Health Services, which resulted in the recent opening of a newly renovated and relocated space and a past Founder and Chair of a large scale Annual Fundraiser Gala "International Lights". Brianna also commits to her broader community in her role as Corporate Governance & Ethics professor at Mount Royal University.
A dinner and award ceremony will be held in Calgary in January, 2018.
