  • Litigation
    • Looking for applicants for a position in our Litigation Department working with a junior lawyer who practices in the areas of Commercial and General Litigation. This position also is responsible for plaintiff files for two lawyers which amount to approximately 25 files. Previous experience with plaintiff files is required for this position.
    • E-Discovery Assistant Position available in our Litigation Support Centre. This is a new position for someone with excellent communication skills, troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.  Responsibilities of this position include monitoring the server to identify Summation and LAW cases for archives, performing database administration, exporting data, processing and scanning documents, overseeing scanning software updates and handling all administrative matters in a timely fashion.  Ideally, the right candidate would have some technical background, however, training will be provided.  The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker, work well independently and under pressure, have a willingness to learn technical programs and take ownership of work.     • A Resource Assistant (Floater) position is now available in our Litigation Department. This would be of interest to a legal assistant who has had experience in some areas of law we practice in such as commercial litigation, employment law and personal injury. Training and orientations are provided. This position is not open to employment agencies. Prior experience in a law firm is mandatory.
  • Banking
    • Position available in our Banking Department working with a partner with a practice consisting of banking, including oil & gas, real estate and commercial financing for chartered banks. Previous experience in a law firm is required and you must have a minimum of five years of legal experience. This position is suitable to someone who enjoys taking initiative, drafting documents and being a team member with the lawyer running her practice. This position is available immediately and comes with a competitive salary.
  • Word Processing
    • Position available in our Word Processing Department working the following hours:  Mondays and Thursdays: 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m and Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.This position requires advanced skills on Microsoft Word and typing skills of 60 wpm.   • Corporate                                                                                                                                                                                    
    • Position available in our Corporate Service Department covering a one year maternity leave. We require applicants who have a minimum of CORES Level II accreditation as well as work experience at that level. Preference will be given to applicants who have attained Level III, along with applicable experience. Position is available February 1, 2010.
