Alison is the Director of Recruitment and Development at BD&P. Working with students and associates, as well as various firm committees, Alison is responsible for student recruitment, lateral hiring and the professional development of the firm's associates and students. Prior to joining BD&P, Alison was the regional manager of one of Canada's leading legal recruitment firms, where she worked with companies and law firms on their hiring needs, and with lawyers in the midst of career changes. Her many years of experience in this role have given her insight into the qualities inherent in successful workplaces and in career development for lawyers. Alison began her legal career as an articling student and corporate associate with BD&P, and is happy to return to the firm in this new capacity.
