Vertigo Theatre

BD&P is pleased to announce its renewed title sponsorship with Vertigo Theatre for the 2017/2018 season. BD&P has been a sponsor of Vertigo Theatre since 2006 and assumed an expanded title sponsorship role beginning with the 2013/14 season.

Vertigo Theatre is nestled in the base of the Calgary Tower and has been entertaining Calgary audiences with high quality mystery theatre productions since 1978. Being a registered charity, Vertigo looks to the public for some of its fundraising, and both the uniqueness of the mystery genre and the widespread appeal of its entertainment struck a chord with most of us at BD&P. Two of BD&P’s longstanding partners, Cal D. Johnson, Q.C. and Cheryl C. Gottselig, Q.C. have been very involved as Past Chairs of the Board, and partner Stuart Money currently sits on the Board.

Being the only exclusively mystery theatre in Canada, Vertigo has mastered the whodunit and delights audiences who have fun practising their skills as amateur sleuths. The 2017/2018 BD&P Mystery Theatre Series productions are in the able hands of Artistic Director Craig Hall and Vertigo Theatre's team of award winning performers and technicians.

Vertigo enhances Calgary’s community in other ways besides its pure entertainment, in that it presents workshops for students and educators, builds the audiences of tomorrow with its Access for Young Audiences program, supports emerging talent through internships and mentorships, and hires over 200 actors, creative artists and technicians.

Our BD&P guests will receive detailed information about how to RSVP to performances throughout the 2017/2018 season.
