Austin Fruson

Austin earned his law degree from the University of Calgary. During law school, Austin volunteered through the Pro Bono Students Canada Immigration Outreach Project and mentored with the Faculty’s Ambassador Program. Austin was also actively involved with the Faculty of Law hockey team and completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Prior to law school, Austin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia while playing varsity baseball for the Thunderbirds. He also volunteered with various youth baseball programs and was recognized as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Canadian.

Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Austin worked for a real estate investment group, where he managed closing and reporting obligations of securitized land-based investment products as well as coordinating due diligence for land acquisition and disposition. Outside of the office, Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and cross-country skiing.
