Before joining BD&P in 2008, Brian spent the prior 14 years managing the marketing/communications of consumer-based brands and services, including McDonald's Restaurants, Subway Sandwiches, The Calgary Stampede, Enmax, Shaw, Telus and Ducati Motorcycles. In 2003, along with some fellow sports enthusiasts, Brian started a sports sponsorship agency which led to successful deals for Brad Richards and Adam Foote prior to the 2004 NHL lockout. While Myers Briggs predicted "Funeral Director" as the obvious choice for a career path, Brian finds that with over 140 lawyers at BD&P, it is far more rewarding and challenging directing lawyers than those who don't push back.
