BD&P World Music Series Concert – Celtic Crossroads

The third  concert in BD&P's 2012/2013 World Music Series.

Seven world-class musicians playing over twenty instruments on stage is a fantastic spectacle from start to finish.  Celtic Crossroads will demonstrate an explosion of youthful energy, breathtaking production, beautiful vocals, amazing dancing and skillful instrumentals. You will be captivated by a wonderful fusion of musical genres in the Irish music family, from eastern European gypsy, to North American Bluegrass, to world classical and jazz and all the various forms of Celtic music from around Europe and the rest of the world. You will hear the haunting uilleann pipes, flutes, whistles, Irish harp, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, accordion, mandola and bouzouki. The high-kicking from some of Ireland’s most respected Irish dancers intensifies the pulsing rhythms of the show.
