Talal graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2022. He returns to BD&P after summering at the firm in 2021.

During law school, Talal pursued his passion for aiding the community by volunteering with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic and the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service. At the clinic, he informed low-income community members about their rights and obligations as a tenant and assisted them with issues related to tenancy. As a Student Advocate, Talal represented students in hearings and formal appeals to help them achieve fair outcomes in their academic and non-academic disputes with the university. He also pursued his passion for community matters by working as a research assistant at the Schulich School of Law. As a research assistant Talal aided in redesigning courses to make them suitable for online teaching during the pandemic.

Prior to attending law school, Talal graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. By excelling in his studies, Talal obtained a research position in the university's Cognitive Psychology Lab to further his understanding of human behavior.

Outside of the office, Talal enjoys hiking, canoeing, and flying drones. He is also an avid soccer fan and follows the English Premier League.
