Experience
Tolu rejoins BDP as an articling student after gaining valuable experience as a practicum student with the corporate records team in 2022. Prior to this, she practiced law in Nigeria, providing legal advisory services in various areas of law including corporate law, real estate and compliance. As a recent Canadian resident, Tolu remains engaged with making a positive impact and volunteered with the Canadian Bar Association Access to Justice Committee (Alberta Branch) from 2020 to 2022, contributing to the promotion of equal access to legal resources.
Outside of her professional life, Tolu engages in a range of hobbies and interests that bring her happiness and fulfilment. In addition to dancing, she has a flair for phone photography and videography. She takes immense pleasure in capturing the world's beauty through her phone's lens, cherishing memories through videos that evoke emotions and tell stories. She also derives great satisfaction from organizing events, especially surprise parties.
Most of all, Tolu cherishes quality time with her loved ones, enjoying the company of family and friends while they explore new places together.
