Experience

Robert McLauchlin has worked libraries and records and information for over 20 years. During Robert’s career, he has worked with both paper and electronic records and emphasized the importance of having information, whatever the medium, supported within an organization. Robert has been involved with administering enterprise taxonomies, retention schedules, as well as overseeing the strategic direction and leadership of the management of information resources.

Professional involvement

Rob is a member of ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators), the Calgary Association of Legal Administrators and the International Legal Technology Association.

Over the years, Robert has been on the Board of the ARMA Calgary Chapter, Calgary Association of Legal Administrators as well as the ARMA International Educational Foundation. He instructed at SAIT in Records Management and has spoken at numerous records management and information management conferences and seminars
