Counsel to Obsidian Energy Ltd in it's acquisition of light oil assets from Highwood Asset Management Ltd. in the Wilson Creek area of Willesden Green for an unadjusted purchase price of $105MM. Obsidian acquired approximately 2,500 boe/d and 35 net sections of land.
