Counsel to Whitecap Resources Inc. for its business combination with Veren Inc. completed by statutory plan of arrangement in an all-share transaction valued at approximately $15 billion to create the seventh largest oil and natural gas producer and the fifth largest natural gas producer in Canada.
Counsel to Graham Group Ltd., in its acquisition of the Canadian assets and business of Rokstad Power
Counsel to Graham Group Ltd., a Calgary-based construction solutions company, in its acquisition of the Canadian assets and business of Rokstad Power (2018) Ltd. from its court-appointed receiver for CAD $20,000,000.00.
Lucero Energy Corp. acquisition of Lucero by Vitesse Energy
Counsel to Lucero Energy Corp. in the acquisition of Lucero by Vitesse Energy, Inc. pursuant to a plan of arrangement under the provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) whereby each share of Lucero was exchanged for 0.01239 of a share of Vitesse common stock, representing a transaction value of US$222 million (C$315 million).

Counsel to the respondent in successfully defending against a discriminatory action complaint under the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Co-counsel to a corporate plaintiff in a claim involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, breach of confidence and taking of corporate opportunities

Co-counsel to a corporate defendant in a claim alleging wrongful dismissal and unlawful withholding of bonuses
Human rights complaint dismissal
Counsel to the respondent in successfully having a human rights complaint dismissed due to the complainant having executed a valid and enforceable release and settlement agreement with the respondent

Managed workplace investigations relating to allegations of bullying and harassment, including sexual harassment
