Summer student
Isabel is a Summer Student at BD&P after having completed her second year at the University of Ottawa. Previously Isabel worked as a Legal Student at Lombard Law.
At the University of Ottawa Isabel has been involved with a range of activities. Isabel currently serves as the Vice-President of the Environmental Law Student Association, helping to plan and advocate within the student body. Isabel was involved with Level Justice as a teaching assistant and participated in the Indigenous Law Clinic, within the Indigenous Lands and Consultation Hub.
During the past year, Isabel has been heavily involved with her community. She was a part of Victorie Boutique, and volunteers as a Front of House for the Great Canadian Theatre Company.
Isabel worked as a Legal Student at Lombard Law, where she focused on Indigenous class action work and conducted legal research. She also served as the Arts Senator at Acadia University from 2023 to 2024, where she was elected to represent the Bachelor of Arts student body and contributed to the Finance, Awards, and Outreach Committees.
Isabel has been involved in a range of community initiatives, including serving as a teaching assistant with Level Justice, volunteering front of house with the Great Canadian Theatre Company, and supporting operations at the Wolfville Farmers Market.
