Kassandra volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on the Youth Criminal Court Mock Trial project, where she helped develop educational materials and facilitated a mock criminal trial for Grade 9 students. She also served as a Clubs Committee representative for the Society of Law Students, assisting in the drafting and finalization of club bylaws and providing administrative support during consultation meetings.

Professional involvement

Community Involvement:

  • Kassandra volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) on the Youth Criminal Court Mock Trial project during her second year in law school. She worked with fellow project members to create an interactive presentation for grade 9 students and assisted with facilitating a mock trial run by the students to determine the guilt or innocence of a fictional accused person.
  • Kassandra assisted the Vice President of Clubs for the Society of Law Students (SLS) as a Clubs Committee representative. This required minute-taking for club consultation meetings along with collaborating, researching, and developing club bylaws to ensure compliance by all registered SLS clubs.
