Lauren also regularly represents employers as plaintiffs seeking to recover relocation costs and benefits overpayments, as well as pursuing significant judgments in matters where employees or contractors have engaged in serious misconduct, including fraud, conspiracy, misappropriation of funds, and breaches of fiduciary or other duties.

Prohibited Action Appeal Success at BC WCAT

Successfully represented employer in appeal of a prohibited action complaint at the BC Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal.

Interim Document Production Order Secured

Successfully obtained interim document production order at Alberta Human Rights Commission in advance of Tribunal Hearing.

Termination Pay Claim Dismissed

Successfully represented employer in response to employee's claim for termination pay under the Employment Standards Code with no amounts owing after employment had been deemed frustrated by law.

$650M Natural Gas Asset Acquisition

Counsel to oil and gas company in its $650 million acquisition of certain natural gas assets.
