Experience

Lauren is a first-year law student at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is originally from Toronto, Ontario and completed her undergraduate degree at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to law school, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Economics, minor in Employment Relations, and a Certificate of Law.

In her first year of law school, Lauren volunteered for Dalhousie's Student Advocacy Services, where she functioned as a Student Advocate for fellow Dalhousie students. In this role, she worked with students who have been accused of academic offences, helping them draft and edit written submissions and preparing the students for their hearings.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, and has a passion for travel, most recently spending three months exploring Southeast Asia prior to beginning law school.
