Leo Paperny

Experience

After spending the summer of 2024 at BD&P, Leo returns to the firm as an articling student. During his time with the firm, he developed an appreciation for the collaborative nature of legal practice and the opportunity to work alongside clients across a broad range of industries.

Before joining BD&P, Leo gained experience as an Operations Analyst in an internal consulting role at Aritzia and as a Commercial Real Estate Intern. He also spent a summer abroad conducting research focused on refugee law. Leo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University before completing his law degree at Western University's Faculty of Law.

Outside the office, Leo enjoys staying active through hockey, where he can often be found in net for his team. He is also an avid sports fan and proudly supports the Minnesota Vikings.
