Experience
Originally from Winnipeg and raised in Edmonton, Lily has pursued academic and professional opportunities across Canada. After completing an undergraduate degree in Toronto, Lily moved to Halifax for law school and is excited to be calling Calgary home this summer.
At law school, Lily has contributed as a Pro Bono Student with the Privacy Compliance Clinic, drafting privacy policies and data breach protocols for non-profits in collaboration with lawyers from McCarthy Tétrault. They are a Dean’s List Scholar and the recipient of the Lorne Tepperman Prize in Public Writing for an essay on domestic workers’ struggles for post-national citizenship in Canada.
Outside of their legal pursuits, Lily is a former competitive dancer who enjoys hiking new trails and discovering local cafés.
