Experience

Having first joined BD&P as a summer student in 2024, Nadia returns to the firm as an articling student. She recently completed her law degree at the University of Calgary, where she was actively involved in student leadership and community initiatives.

During law school, Nadia served as the 1L Events Representative and later Vice President, Events for the Society of Law Students. She also represented her class on the University of Calgary Faculty Council and volunteered with the Pro Bono Students Canada Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program. Prior to attending law school, Nadia earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Indigenous Studies.

  • Co-author, "Bill C-59 Enacted: New Laws Targeting Greenwashing." The article was recognized in Mondaq's Autumn Awards as a Thought Leadership piece in the Energy & Natural Resources and Environmental Law categories.
