Reed Boothby

Experience

A 2023 graduate from UCalgary Law, Reed rejoins BD&P after summering with the firm in 2021. During law school, Reed worked with the UCalgary Law Business Venture Clinic, helping local entrepreneurs and small businesses by providing them with free legal information. Prior to law school, Reed earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University.

Reed grew up working on his family's cattle ranch in nearby Cochrane. Showing a passion for his community, Reed volunteers as a director for the Cochrane Foundation, where he helps advance community driven non-profit organizations focused on the Cochrane area. He has also previously volunteered with the Cochrane Minor Hockey Association and the Cochrane & Area Humane Society.

In his personal life, Reed enjoys staying active through running and cycling, preferably along a scenic nature path. To unwind, Reed loves reading fiction, tending to his plants and trying to improve his cooking and baking skills, though that remains a work-in-progress.
