Experience
Originally born in Montreal, William spent time living across Canada and abroad in Germany before settling in Halifax, which he considers home.
A dedicated athlete, William has played soccer at both the university and semi-professional levels, including for Buffalo FC. He is also a passionate sports enthusiast, both watching and playing a wide range of sports including soccer, hockey, basketball, football, and golf.
In the community, William has volunteered with the Pro Bono Legal Clinic supporting Immigration Services through Access Nova Scotia. He also serves as Vice President of a nonprofit soccer academy that provides sports programming to youth across the Halifax Regional Municipality (“HRM”) on a “pay what you can” basis.
Outside of his academic and athletic commitments, William enjoys film, television, music, and reading. His favourite films and series include Good Will Hunting, Interstellar, Severance, and Game of Thrones. He is an avid reader with interests ranging from science fiction, including Dune, to biographies, with Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey among his favourites.

William is a four-time Dean’s List recipient and a four-time Academic All-Canadian. He was also recognized as an Atlantic University Sport Conference All-Star.
