Experience
Byung is Articling with BD&P after having completed law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (University of British Columbia).
At the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Byung primarily focused on business law courses and served as the President of the Golf Club. Prior to law school, Byung enjoyed a successful career as a high-performance tennis coach. Byung has trained several national champions, as well as many internationally-ranked junior players. In addition, Byung also served as a Faculty Lecturer for the University of Alberta, Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation for eight years, playing a large role in teaching and curriculum development.
In his free time, Byung enjoys backcountry canoeing trips. His favourite treks include Maligne Lake and Lake Minnewanka. Byung is also passionate about community gardens and food networks, and looks forward to donating fruit yields from his Mount Royal Plum and Romeo Cherry trees every summer.
