Evan Beck

Experience

Originally from Edmonton, Evan completed his undergraduate studies while playing as an offensive lineman with the University of Alberta Golden Bears from 2020 to 2022. Following the conclusion of his playing career, he became involved in coaching, volunteering as a high school football coach with the Harry Ainlay Titans.

Evan has also contributed to pro bono initiatives through the Dalhousie Youth Legal Education Society, where he delivered presentations to junior high and high school students on consent, consent law, and available resources.

Outside of academics, Evan is an avid runner, having begun marathon running in 2023 and completing multiple full and half marathons across various locations. In his spare time, he enjoys reading autobiographies and historical narratives, exploring local breweries while travelling, playing spikeball with friends, and watching sports. He is also a dedicated fan of the Edmonton Oilers.

Community Involvement: 

Evan was previously involved in community volunteering as a high school football coach from 2020 to 2025, and as a coach with the West Edmonton Raiders minor football program from 2023 to 2024.
