Experience

Florence advises a wide range of clients across many sectors on general commercial disputes. She has assisted client with matters going through litigation, arbitration, and mediation. She has assisted on disputes related to employment, complex construction projects, energy projects, negligence claims and intentional torts, professional liability and fiduciary duties, intellectual property disputes, and real estate issues. These disputes include contractual matters, builders’ liens, joint ventures, operator and oil and gas operating agreement disputes, lease interpretation, debt recovery and more. Florence has represented clients at the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
