Experience

Katerina is a lawyer in BD&P’s Energy and Project Development group. Her practice focuses on advising industry proponents on transactions and projects across both conventional and emerging energy and oil & gas sectors. She has particular expertise in complex commercial arrangements and strategic partnerships.

Katerina has significant experience advising Indigenous clients on a broad range of matters, including land development, project financing on First Nations lands, share and asset transactions, limited partnerships, joint ventures, and economic development initiatives. She is especially active in supporting First Nations communities and industry partners in structuring and negotiating impactful, forward-looking business relationships.

In addition to her work in energy and Indigenous law, Katerina also advises on general corporate and commercial matters.
