Experience

Simon recently completed his final year of law school at the University of Manitoba.

During law school, he was actively involved in the Environmental Law Group, serving as Vice-President. In this role, he organized events, managed communications, and engaged with the student body on legal issues related to the environment.

Simon also participated in several extracurricular teams and clubs, including the Winnipeg Law Soccer League, Winnipeg Law Hockey League, and the Robson Hall Curling Club.

Outside of academics, Simon enjoys spending time outdoors—running, hiking, and being with family and friends. He also has a passion for travel, having spent a semester studying international law in Umeå, Sweden.

Professionally, Simon has gained valuable legal experience through summer positions at the Manitoba Human Rights Commission in Winnipeg, Mayer Brown LLP in Hong Kong, and Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP (BD&P) in the summer of 2024.
