Experience
Anna returns to BD&P after summering at the firm in 2020. She graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2022 with Dean's List standing and as the recipient of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation Prize.
During law school Anna worked as an Editorial Assistant for the Centre for Constitutional Studies and as a Writing Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing course. She was involved in extra-curricular activities including serving as an elected member of the Admissions Committee, the Law Students Association, and as the Dance Director for the Faculty of Law "Law Show", a student-run musical for charity. Anna competed in the Wilson Moot in 2021, and was a member of the winning Clinton J Ford Moot team in 2022.
Prior to coming BD&P, Anna worked as a legal summer student for the Workers' Compensation Board. While completing her undergraduate degree in political science she had the pleasure of interning in both New York City and Berlin.
As a newly minted Calgarian, Anna's newfound hobby is hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys watching Formula 1, going to the gym, and trying out new fitness classes.
