Experience
Mardi began her legal career at a national boutique Indigenous law firm where she focused on Indigenous legal issues before moving to a trust company where she worked on a wide range of domestic and cross border securities transactions, including equity and debt offerings for public and private companies.
She joined BD&P as the firm’s first Knowledge Management Lawyer where she works alongside the Business Law group, focusing on research, writing, and training students and junior associates.

Mardi mentors a number of articling students and junior lawyers through the Law Society of Alberta’s Mentorship Express and Mentor Connect programs.
