During his undergrad, Karim participated in an exchange to Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) in 2019. Karim also acted as an orientation leader, and assisted newcomers to Canada by offering translation services.
In his free time, Karim enjoys travelling, hiking, reading, and finding ways to play inner-tube waterpolo. Tuning into his Egyptian roots, Karim regularly seeks opportunities to soak up some sun on a sandy beach or go history-diving in a museum.
